Surat's identity, now riding with its future. These are the first real photos from inside a Surat Metro coach, and the Diamond City is written all over it. The ceiling is a sweep of diamond cuts and facets in deep blue, red and silver, running the full length of the coach, with bright red doors, red grab handles and steel seats below. Gujarat's Deputy CM Harsh Sanghavi shared the photos today: the diamond theme runs through the trains, the ceilings and the stations. It is a first for any metro in India. Underground, Surat also gets India's first stacked stations at Muskati Hospital and Labheshwar, about 110 ft deep, where up and down trains run one above the other.

सूरत की पहचान, अब उसके भविष्य के साथ दौड़ेगी। सूरत मेट्रो के कोच के अंदर की ये पहली असली तस्वीरें हैं और हर कोने में डायमंड सिटी दिखती है। पूरे कोच की छत पर नीले, लाल और चांदी रंग में हीरे के कट और फेसिट्स का डिजाइन है, नीचे लाल दरवाजे, लाल हैंडल और स्टील की सीटें। उपमुख्यमंत्री हर्ष संघवी ने आज ये तस्वीरें साझा कीं: ट्रेन, छत और स्टेशनों में हीरे की थीम है। देश की किसी मेट्रो में ऐसा पहली बार है। मस्कती हॉस्पिटल और लाभेश्वर में करीब 110 फीट गहराई पर देश के पहले स्टैक्ड स्टेशन बने हैं।
