#News | The Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Dibru College, in collaboration with the District Industries Centre (DIC), Dibrugarh, organised an Entrepreneurship Development Programme to promote entrepreneurship, innovation and self-employment among college students. The initiative aimed to create awareness about entrepreneurial opportunities and encourage young people to explore business ventures.
The programme focused on motivating students to transform their innovative ideas into sustainable ventures while developing the skills and confidence required to become future entrepreneurs. It also highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship in promoting self-reliance and creating employment opportunities.
The programme was attended by Dr. Ranjan Changmai, Principal of Dibru College, and Dr. Kamalendu Saikia, Vice Principal of the college. Resource persons Mr. Pallab Saharia, District Resource Person, and Mr. Manas Pratim Chetry, Assistant Manager at DIC, Dibrugarh, shared valuable insights into entrepreneurship development and the opportunities available for aspiring entrepreneurs.
The initiative marked a step towards nurturing entrepreneurial skills among students and encouraging them to become innovators and job creators. Through such programmes, Dibru College seeks to empower young minds with knowledge and awareness to explore entrepreneurial opportunities and contribute to economic development.
