According to local residents, the road remains submerged in dirty drain and sewage water almost every day, irrespective of rainfall. The stagnant water not only causes inconvenience to commuters and pedestrians but also poses serious health and sanitation concerns for the people living in the area.

The situation reportedly worsens during the monsoon season, when even moderate rainfall leads to severe waterlogging, making it difficult for residents to move around and affecting daily activities. Locals claim that numerous complaints and applications have been submitted to the concerned departments over the years, but no permanent solution has been implemented.
