A team of the Rourkela Vigilance Department reportedly conducted a raid at the Udit Nagar Excise Office on Friday evening.
According to preliminary information, a senior Excise official , Dhaneswar Varad , Excise Superintendent was allegedly caught by Vigilance personnel while accepting a bribe allegedly amounting to Five lakhs of rupees.
