#News | The Office of the District Commissioner, Dibrugarh, Development Branch, has ordered a detailed inquiry into an inc!dent that occurred at Don Bosco HS School, Dibrugarh, on September 10, 2026, in which 12 Class VII students sustained inj*ries, according to an official order.
As per the order, Smti Kabita Deka, AES, Inspector of Schools, Dibrugarh, has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting a comprehensive inquiry into the inc!dent.
The inquiry officer has been directed to examine all relevant facts and circumstances surrounding the inc!dent and submit a detailed inquiry report to the District Commissioner, Dibrugarh, within seven days from the date of receipt of the order.
The order has come into force with immediate effect.
The District Child Protection Officer, Dibrugarh, has been instructed to extend necessary assistance and cooperation during the inquiry, while the Principal of Don Bosco HS School has been directed to provide necessary cooperation and coordinate with the Inspector of Schools.
