Rourkela Trade Fair Inaugurated at Sector-13 Mela Ground; 102 Stalls Showcase Products from 28 States
Rourkela, October 2, 2026 (SatyaNewsAlert): With the festive season in full swing, the much-awaited Rourkela Trade Fair was inaugurated at the Sector-13 Mela Ground on Thursday evening, offering residents an opportunity to explore and purchase a wide range of products from across the country under one roof.
Organised by Odisha’s leading Expo Event Management Group, the exhibition-cum-sale features 102 stalls showcasing selected products from 28 states. The fair was formally inaugurated by Rourkela MLA Sarada Prasad Nayak, who attended the opening ceremony as the chief guest. He cut the ribbon and performed the traditional coconut-breaking ritual to mark the occasion.
Apart from shopping, visitors can enjoy a variety of delicious food items at dedicated food stalls, making the exhibition an attractive destination for families during the festive season.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by Expo Event Management Group Director Leena Nayak, Event Managers S. K. Anar and Santosh Jha, along with other dignitaries and visitors.
The Rourkela Trade Fair will continue from October 1 to October 11, remaining open daily from 12 noon to 9:30 pm at the Sector-13 Mela Ground.
Inviting residents of Rourkela and nearby areas to visit the exhibition with their families, Expo Group Director Leena Nayak expressed hope that the fair would provide an enjoyable festive shopping experience while bringing together products, crafts and specialties from different parts of India .
