The Samshan Para Ganesh Puja Committee is set to organise a dance competition as part of its Ganesh Puja celebrations on September 15, 2026. The programme will begin at 4 pm and will provide a platform for young dancers and participants to showcase their talent.
The competition will feature both solo and group dance categories. The solo dance segment will have three age categories — 8 to 11 years, 12 to 16 years, and 17 years and above. Participants will get an opportunity to present their performances before an audience as part of the festive celebrations.
For the group dance category, each team must have a minimum of four and a maximum of 10 participants, with performances limited to three minutes. The organisers have invited performances based on themes including mythology, patriotism and creative dance based on mythology.
