Workers at Vedant Industries in Amroli, Surat, have gone on strike over their demand for a weekly Sunday holiday. A dispute reportedly arose between workers and the management regarding the weekly day off, following which a large number of workers stopped work and protested. Workers allege that continuous workload and inadequate rest have caused physical and mental stress. Police reached the spot after the protest began, while management held discussions with worker representatives to resolve the issue. Workers have stated that they will not resume work until a proper decision and written assurance regarding the Sunday holiday are provided.

सूरत के अमरोली स्थित वेदांत इंडस्ट्रीज के कर्मचारी रविवार की साप्ताहिक छुट्टी की मांग को लेकर हड़ताल पर चले गए। कर्मचारियों और मिल प्रबंधन के बीच साप्ताहिक अवकाश को लेकर विवाद के बाद बड़ी संख्या में कर्मचारियों ने काम बंद कर विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। कर्मचारियों का आरोप है कि लगातार काम के दबाव और पर्याप्त आराम नहीं मिलने से उन्हें शारीरिक और मानसिक तनाव का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। विरोध की जानकारी मिलते ही पुलिस भी मौके पर पहुंची। वहीं प्रबंधन ने कर्मचारी प्रतिनिधियों के साथ बैठक कर मामले को सुलझाने के प्रयास शुरू किए हैं।

Surat Police have once again busted an alleged high-profile liquor party in the Dumas area, where six textile traders were detained. Acting on information, Dumas Police raided a flat in Rajhans Belliza Building and reportedly recovered 14 bottles of foreign liquor, 8 mobile phones and one car, with the total seized property valued at around ₹10.07 lakh. Police detained six people and conducted medical examinations. According to the information provided, the party was allegedly organised by textile trader Anup Pampaliya at his own flat. A tempo overturned on the Sachin Pali Gam Bridge in Surat after the driver allegedly lost control while descending the bridge. The tempo, bearing registration GJ-05-CW-9360, overturned and sustained damage. Locals rushed to the spot following the incident, leading to a crowd gathering on the bridge. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

सूरत के सचिन पाली गांव ब्रिज पर तेज रफ्तार टेम्पो अचानक पलट गया। ब्रिज से नीचे उतरते समय चालक ने वाहन से नियंत्रण खो दिया, जिसके बाद GJ-05-CW-9360 नंबर का टेम्पो पलट गया। हादसे में टेम्पो को नुकसान हुआ। घटना के बाद मौके पर लोगों की भीड़ जमा हो गई। गनीमत रही कि हादसे में कोई जनहानि नहीं हुई।

સુરતના સચિન પાલી ગામ બ્રિજ પર તેજ રફ્તારે દોડી રહેલો ટેમ્પો અચાનક પલટી જતા અકસ્માત સર્જાયો હતો. બ્રિજ પરથી નીચે ઉતરતી વખતે ટેમ્પો ચાલકે વાહન પરથી કાબૂ ગુમાવતા GJ-05-CW-9360 નંબરનો ટેમ્પો પલટી ગયો હતો. અકસ્માતમાં ટેમ્પોને નુકસાન થયું હતું. ઘટનાની જાણ થતાં આસપાસના લોકો તાત્કાલિક સ્થળ પર દોડી આવ્યા હતા અને બ્રિજ પર લોકોની ભીડ એકઠી થઈ હતી. સદનસીબે સમગ્ર ઘટનામાં કોઈ જાનહાનિ નોંધાઈ નથી.
