IS THIS PARKING ENFORCEMENT OR A
PARKING MAFIA PROBLEM? NOIDA AUTHORITIES, PLEASE ANSWER!
My experience outside DLF Mall of India, Noida, was shocking.
There was no parking available inside the mall. I hardly visit Noida, so I had no idea where I was supposed to park. I couldn’t spot any clear signboard indicating that the spot was a NO-PARKING ZONE. Several other cars were parked there, too.
I even asked someone standing there if I could park my car. His response? “100 gaadiyan khadi hain, ek aur khadi ho gayi toh ky farak padega?”
I parked my car and went about my work.
When I returned, MY CAR WAS GONE!
For a moment, I genuinely feared it had been stolen. A passer-by then suggested that I check the basement, where I might find the people who had towed it. I was told that I might have to pay 71,000-72,000 to get it back.
WHY SHOULD A VISITOR HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS?
If parking is prohibited, where are the clear, visible signboards? If vehicles are being towed, are the rules communicated properly?
Who is responsible for guiding visitors who cannot find parking?
And is every towing and penalty charge officially authorised and receipted?
I am not asking for special treatment. I am asking for CLEAR SIGNAGE, TRANSPARENT ENFORCEMENT AND ACCOUNTABILITY.
ta Uttar Pradesh Government, Yogi Adityanath ji, Noida Traffic Police and Noida Authority - please investigate what is happening outside Mall of India.
If the rules were violated, enforce them transparently. But please ensure that unsuspecting visitors are not left confused, frightened and vulnerable to potential exploitation.
I request the authorities to investigate this incident, clarify the official parking and towing rules, and take appropriate action if any irreg..
