Rourkela, August 19 (SatyaNewsAlert): The Rourkela Circuit House arms seizure case is set to witness major police action. A pistol and live ammunition were earlier recovered from a room at the Circuit House, following which seven persons were arrested in connection with the case.
As part of the ongoing investigation, police today brought three accused — Rajesh, Bikash and Sagar — from jail on two-day remand for further interrogation.
Investigators are now probing who had booked the room for the accused and whether the case has any political connection or other influential links.
Police are expected to question the three accused in detail to uncover the circumstances surrounding the arms seizure and identify others who may be connected to the case.
