We send our children to schools to get an education, hoping they become ‘successful’ individuals with prestigious degrees. But if our system is only producing students who can memorize textbooks but lack the basic character to hold onto a plastic wrapper in their pocket until they find a dustbin, then that education is an absolute failure. True education is not reflected in your academic mark sheets, it is reflected in your fundamental civic sense and how you treat your motherland when nobody is watching. Memorizing books is easy, but building the unshakeable character of a responsible citizen is the real test. You cannot absorb true knowledge while sitting comfortably in the dirt. Stop raising just ‘educated’ children; start raising responsible citizens. Drop a ‘Jai Hind’ if you agree that character is more important than degrees!
