Joint Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, Visits NHRIMH, Kottayam
Ms. Alarmelmangai D, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Ayush and Chairperson, Institutional Finance Committee (IFC), visited the National Homoeopathy Research Institute in Mental Health (NHRIMH), Kottayam, and chaired the 6th meeting of the Institutional Finance Committee (IFC). The meeting deliberated on the Institute’s future financial requirements and measures to further strengthen its research, academic, healthcare, and infrastructure initiatives.
During her visit, Ms. Alarmelmangai D inaugurated the ‘Skill Laboratory’ for Postgraduate Students, aimed at enhancing practical, skills-based training and strengthening clinical competencies.She also visited various sections of the Institute and interacted with postgraduate students, staff members and patients, taking keen interest in the Institute’s academic, research and patient-care activities.
As a gesture towards environmental sustainability, she planted a sapling on the Institute premises, symbolising the commitment towards a greener and healthier institutional environment. The visit reaffirmed NHRIMH’s continued efforts towards evidence-based Homoeopathic healthcare, research, and postgraduate education in mental health.
