Rourkela Railway Station Gate Closure Sparks Protest
The closure of an existing entry gate at Rourkela Railway Station has triggered growing opposition from various organisations.
After the Rourkela Banik Sangh protested the decision, the Rourkela Bar Association has now stepped in.
A delegation led by Bar Association President Sadananda Sahu met the Station Manager and demanded that the gate be reopened immediately.
The association has warned that if the gate is not reopened within 10 days, it will launch an agitation.
Passengers are also expressing dissatisfaction over parking fees, entry arrangements and train delays.
