Four Feet of Water Floods Bridge, Traffic Disrupted
Bonai, August 16 (Satya News Alert): Around four feet of water is flowing over the Seemajore Bridge, which connects Jangala in Bonai Block with the Bahadapashi National Highway, disrupting vehicular movement in the area.
Due to the rising water level, commuters travelling from Rourkela towards Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Keonjhar are being forced to turn back. The administration has closed the affected route as a precautionary measure and is stopping and diverting vehicles attempting to cross the bridge.
The situation has arisen following continuous heavy rainfall throughout last night, which caused the water level to rise sharply over the bridge.
