
Former Army Jawan Swept Away in Strong Current, Rescue Operation Underway

(SatyaNewsAlert): A 46-year-old former Army jawan, identified as Sunil Tigga, has gone missing after being swept away along with his motorcycle in the strong current of the Nakti Nala near Kesramal Bridge under Alanda Gram Panchayat in Rajgangpur police station limits.
According to reports, Sunil Tigga, a resident of Gariamal village, was travelling on his motorcycle at around 6:30 pm on Saturday when he was caught in the strong water current near Kesramal Bridge and swept away along with his bike.
After receiving information about the incident, police and fire services personnel immediately launched a rescue operation. However, the search was hampered by darkness and had to be suspended during the night.
The rescue operation resumed early Sunday morning, with fire services personnel carrying out an extensive search in the Nala to trace the missing former serviceman.
Meanwhile, villagers managed to recover Sunil Tigga’s motorcycle from the Nakti Nala.
Rajgangpur MLA Dr. C.S. Rajan Ekka, Kesramal Sarpanch Binay Bhushan Barla, along with police and administrative officials, are present at the spot and monitoring the ongoing rescue operation.
Despite continued efforts, Sunil Tigga remains untraced, and the search operation is underway.
