#News | Students of the Centre for Studies in Journalism and Mass Communication (CSJMC), Dibrugarh University, organised a cleanliness drive in and around the university campus on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, under the theme “A cleaner tomorrow begins with us.”
Inspired by the spirit of “Clean India, Green India,” the students invited members of the university community to join the initiative and take meaningful steps towards maintaining a clean and green campus. The drive focused on encouraging collective participation and greater awareness about keeping the surrounding environment clean.
The programme was organised to honour the values of cleanliness, service and civic responsibility associated with Mahatma Gandhi. By marking the occasion through a hands-on cleanliness activity, the CSJMC students sought to transform the message of a clean and green India into practical action within the university campus.
The initiative also highlighted the role of students in promoting responsible civic practices and creating greater awareness about environmental cleanliness. Through their participation, the students aimed to encourage the university community to make cleanliness a shared and continuing responsibility.
