On reliable source of information, a surprise checking was conducted at Ganesh chowk during the course of which a vehicle having registered no. OD14AH5824 was found loaded with 39 filled gas cylinders & 48 empty gas cylinders parked in close proximity with operational railway track. The person named Ajay Tirkey, aged about 30 yrs. S/O Ajit Tirkey, R/O Kabristan Basti, Koel River Bank, PS- Ragunathpalli Dist- Sundargarh, Odisha present with the said vehicle could not produce any legal authority for keeping Bharat gas filled cylinders & distributing from the said spot, which is endangering the safety of passengers travelling by railway. As such the said vehicle was seized in presence of available witnesses for further legal action against the said person.
