#News | The historic Marwari Hindi High School in Dibrugarh has come under scrutiny following allegations regarding its administration, infrastructure, student discipline, hygiene and food quality.
According to allegations raised by Rajni Sharma against Ram Niraj Singh, the school is currently facing an unusual administrative situation, with one principal reportedly appointed by the government and another associated with the school committee. Sharma has alleged that the government-appointed principal is not being allowed to function properly, resulting in administrative difficulties within the institution.
Several concerns have also been raised regarding the basic facilities available to students. Allegations include non-functional fans and lights, damaged school property and inadequate maintenance of classrooms and other parts of the campus.
Concerns have further been raised over student discipline, including allegations of improper use or damage of school facilities. Questions have also been raised about the condition of classrooms and the overall learning environment.
Another major concern reportedly involves food hygiene and sanitation, along with the condition of toilets and other sanitation facilities on the school premises.
The allegations have raised questions about the management and maintenance of one of Dibrugarh’s historic educational institutions. A clear response from the school authorities, the concerned committee and the education department would be important to establish the facts and determine whether corrective measures are required.
