#News | Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said that after the Budget Session of the 16th Assam Legislative Assembly begins on July 6, the full Budget will be passed and benefits under various welfare schemes, including pensions, will start reaching people from August. The Chief Minister stated that due to the Assembly elections, only a vote-on-account was passed earlier and the full Budget could not be presented. Once the Budget is approved, welfare assistance will be released for the benefit of the people of Assam.
