#Dibrugarh | The Managing Director of Borah Kia, Dibrugarh, has submitted a complaint before the Officer-in-Charge of Borbaruah Police Station, seeking registration of an FIR against former employee Biswajit Das, alleging financial irregularities amounting to approximately ₹25.08 lakh.
According to the complaint dated August 30, 2026, Das, who was employed with Borah Kia as a Delivery In-charge, was responsible for collecting full and final payments from customers before vehicle delivery, issuing gate passes, depositing collected amounts with the cashier and completing vehicle registration-related work with the RTO.
The complaint alleges that during an internal audit, it was found that Das had collected money from customers but allegedly failed to deposit the amounts with the cashier. It further alleges that online payment slips submitted for RTO-related payments did not match the official records.
The company has alleged that the discrepancies indicate preparation of false documents and misappropriation of company funds. The total amount involved has been stated as approximately ₹25,08,490.
The complainant has requested Borbaruah Police to register an FIR, conduct a detailed investigation, take appropriate legal action and recover the allegedly misappropriated amount in accordance with law.
The allegations are based on the complaint submitted by the company, and the matter remains subject to police investigation and due legal process.
