Undertrial Prisoner Escapes from Sundargarh Hospital While in Police Custody
An undertrial prisoner, Tek Chand Behera, reportedly escaped from Sundargarh District Headquarters Hospital while undergoing treatment under police guard.
He was admitted after falling ill and allegedly fled while being taken to the toilet. Three police personnel had been deployed for his security.
Town Police have launched a search operation to trace and apprehend the absconding prisoner.
