#Assam | In a swift late-night operation, Dibrugarh Police conducted a raid at Jokai Chabbis Gharia Gaon, Barbaruah and apprehended a suspected habitual dr*g peddler allegedly involved in the ill*gal distribution of drugs in the area.
During the oper*tion, police recovered 966 grams of suspected g@nja along with ₹1,44,270 in cash, believed to be proceeds from dr*g sales. Officers also seized a mobile phone, a digital weighing machine, zip-lock packaging materials and other articles allegedly linked to the suspected dr*g distribution network.
The oper@tion was carried out under the leadership of CDSP Khowang Amit Ranjan Barman, as part of ongoing efforts by Assam Police to curb the illeg@l dr*g trade in the region.
