Students of Lakhimpur College of Veterinary Science, Joyhing, have once again raised concerns over frequent and prolonged power cuts, especially during the ongoing examination period.
A second-year BVSc student shared on social media that the lack of electricity makes it extremely difficult to study at night, questioning how students are expected to prepare for one of the toughest phases of the course without basic infrastructure.
The student also claimed that the college has been facing the same issue for more than 12 years, with repeated power outages continuing even during final examinations. The post has drawn attention online, with many calling for a permanent solution to ensure uninterrupted electricity for students.
