No DJ During This Year’s Rath Yatra Route for Safety To ensure a safe and peaceful Jagannath Rath Yatra on July 16 in Amdavad, authorities have directed that no DJs or loud music be played anywhere along the entire procession route. The decision comes in view of last year’s incident, when an elephant became uncontrollable during the yatra. Officials have also instructed proper traffic management from Shahpur to Jamalpur and adequate lighting arrangements throughout the route to help ensure the procession passes safely and smoothly.
