ସେ ଆହୁରି କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ କ୍ରୀଡ଼ା ଭିତ୍ତିଭୂମିକୁ ସୁଦୃଢ଼ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସରକାର ସମସ୍ତ ୩୧୪ଟି ବ୍ଲକରେ ୪,୧୨୪ କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କା ବ୍ୟୟରେ ଅତ୍ୟାଧୁନିକ ଷ୍ଟାଡିୟମ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରୁଛନ୍ତି। ଏହା ସହିତ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱରର ଗୋଠପାଟଣାଠାରେ ଏକ ହାଇ-ଟେକ୍ ସ୍ପୋର୍ଟ୍ସ କମ୍ପ୍ଲେକ୍ସ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା କରାଯିବ। ବାରବାଟୀ ଷ୍ଟାଡିୟମର ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ନବୀକରଣ କରାଯାଇ ଏହାକୁ ଦେଶର ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ କ୍ରୀଡ଼ା ଭେନ୍ୟୁରେ ପରିଣତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସରକାର ସଙ୍କଳ୍ପବଦ୍ଧ। ଓଡ଼ିଶା କ୍ରିକେଟ୍ ଆସୋସିଏସନ୍ ର under -14 କ୍ରିକେଟ୍ ଏକାଡେମୀ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ଉଦ୍ୟମକୁ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିବା ସହ ଲିଗ୍‌ରେ ଭାଗ ନେଇଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ୬ଟି ଦଳ, ଅଧିନାୟକ, ପ୍ରଶିକ୍ଷକ ଓ କ୍ରୀଡ଼ାପ୍ରେମୀଙ୍କୁ ଶୁଭେଚ୍ଛା ଜଣାଇଛନ୍ତି।

ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଟି-୨୦ ଲିଗ୍ ସିଏମ୍ ଟ୍ରଫି ୨୦୨୬ ବାରବାଟୀ ଷ୍ଟାଡିଅମରେ ଶୁଭାରମ୍ଭ କଲେ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଫୁଟବଲ, ଖୋ-ଖୋ, କବାଡ଼ି ଓ ଭଲିବଲ ପରେ ଏବେ ‘ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଟ୍ରଫି’ରେ ପଞ୍ଚମ କ୍ରୀଡ଼ା ଭାବେ ଯୋଡ଼ି ହେଲା କ୍ରିକେଟ। ପୂର୍ବତନ ଭାରତୀୟ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଜାତୀୟ କ୍ରିକେଟର ଶ୍ରୀ ସୁରେଶ ରାଇନା ଏବଂ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର କ୍ରିକେଟର ଦେବାଶିଷ ମହାନ୍ତି ଲିଗ୍‌ର ଆମ୍ବାସାଡର। ରାଜ୍ୟର ୩୧୪ଟି ବ୍ଲକରେ ୪,୧୨୪ କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କା ବ୍ୟୟରେ ନିର୍ମାଣ ହେବ ଅତ୍ୟାଧୁନିକ ଷ୍ଟାଡିୟମ୍; ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱରର ଗୋଠପାଟଣାରେ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ହେବ ହାଇ-ଟେକ୍ ସ୍ପୋର୍ଟ୍ସ କମ୍ପ୍ଲେକ୍ସ। ବାରବାଟୀ ଷ୍ଟାଡିୟମର ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ନବୀକରଣ କରାଯାଇ ଏହାକୁ ଦେଶର ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ କ୍ରୀଡ଼ା ଭେନ୍ୟୁ ଭାବେ ଗଢ଼ିତୋଳିବାକୁ ସରକାର ପ୍ରତିବଦ୍ଧ। ଓଡ଼ିଶା ସରକାରଙ୍କ ଏହି ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ପ୍ରକୃତରେ ପ୍ରଶଂସନୀୟ, ଆଗକୁ ଅନେକ ପ୍ରତିଭା ସମ୍ପନ୍ନ କ୍ରିକେଟର ଓଡ଼ିଶା ମାଟିରୁ ବାହାରିବେ - କ୍ରିକେଟର ସୁରେଶ ରାଇନା ରାଜ୍ୟର ଗ୍ରାମୀଣ କ୍ରିକେଟ ପ୍ରତିଭାଙ୍କୁ ମିଳିବ ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତରୀୟ ମଞ୍ଚ- ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର ୨୦ ସେପ୍ଟେମ୍ବର ୨୦୨୬ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର କ୍ରୀଡ଼ା ଇତିହାସରେ ଏକ ନୂତନ ଅଧ୍ୟାୟ ଯୋଡ଼ି ହୋଇଛି।କଟକର ଐତିହାସିକ ବାରବାଟୀ ଷ୍ଟାଡିଅମଠାରେ ‘ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଟି-୨୦ ଲିଗ୍ ସିଏମ୍ ଟ୍ରଫି ୨୦୨୬’ର ଶୁଭାରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି । ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଟ୍ରଫିରେ ଫୁଟବଲ, ଖୋ-ଖୋ, କବାଡ଼ି ଓ ଭଲିବଲ ପରେ ଏବେ କ୍ରିକେଟ୍ ପଞ୍ଚମ କ୍ରୀଡ଼ା ଭାବେ ସାମିଲ ହୋଇଛି, ଯାହା ଆମ ୩୦ଟି ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ଥିବା ଗ୍ରାମୀଣ କ୍ରିକେଟ୍ ପ୍ରତିଭାଙ୍କୁ ଚିହ୍ନଟ କରିବା ସହିତ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିଜ ଦକ୍ଷତା ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନର ଏକ ନୂଆ ଓ ବଡ଼ ମଞ୍ଚ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିବ," ବୋଲି ଆଜି କଟକର ଐତିହାସିକ ବାରବାଟୀ ଷ୍ଟାଡିଅମଠାରେ 'ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଟି-୨୦ ଲିଗ୍ ସିଏମ୍ ଟ୍ରଫି ୨୦୨୬'ର ଶୁଭାରମ୍ଭ କରି ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ମୋହନ ଚରଣ ମାଝୀ କହିଛନ୍ତି । ଖେଳ ଏବେ କେବଳ କ୍ରୀଡ଼ା ପ୍ରତିଯୋଗିତା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସୀମିତ ନରହି ଏକ ସଫଳ କ୍ୟାରିୟରର ମାଧ୍ୟମ ପାଲଟିଛି ବୋଲି ପ୍ରକାଶ କରି ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ, ଗତ ଗୋଟିଏ ଦଶନ୍ଧି ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଭାରତର କ୍ରୀଡ଼ା ଦୃଶ୍ୟପଟ୍ଟ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବଦଳିଯାଇଛି । ଆଜିର ଟି-୨୦ ଏବଂ ଲିଗ୍ କ୍ରିକେଟ୍ ଯୁଗରେ ଯୁବ ଖେଳାଳିଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଅନେକ ସୁଯୋଗ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇଛି। ଏହି ଲିଗ୍‌ରେ ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ ଭାରତୀୟ କ୍ରିକେଟର ସୁରେଶ ରାଇନା ଏବଂ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ‘ସ୍ୱିଙ୍ଗ ମାଷ୍ଟର’ ଦେବାଶିଷ ମହାନ୍ତି ଆମ୍ବାସାଡର ଭାବେ ଯୋଡ଼ି ହୋଇଥିବାରୁ ଏହା ଯୁବ ଖେଳାଳିଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରେରଣା ଦେବ। ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ପ୍ରତିଭା ଓ ଭିତ୍ତିଭୂମିର ଅଭାବ ନାହିଁ, ତେଣୁ ଚୟନକର୍ତ୍ତାମାନେ ସଠିକ୍ ପ୍ରତିଭାକୁ ଚିହ୍ନଟ କରି ଆଗାମୀ ଦିନରେ ଓଡ଼ିଶାରୁ ଆହୁରି ଅନେକ ଜାତୀୟ ଓ ଆଇପିଏଲ୍ ଖେଳାଳି ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିବେ ବୋଲି ସେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ସେ ଆହୁରି କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ କ୍ରୀଡ଼ା ଭିତ୍ତିଭୂମିକୁ ସୁଦୃଢ଼ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସରକାର ସମସ୍ତ ୩୧୪ଟି ବ୍ଲକରେ ୪,୧୨୪ କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କା ବ୍ୟୟରେ ଅତ୍ୟାଧୁନିକ ଷ୍ଟାଡିୟମ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରୁଛନ୍ତି। ଏହା ସହିତ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱରର ଗୋଠପାଟଣାଠାରେ ଏକ ହାଇ-ଟେକ୍ ସ୍ପୋର୍ଟ୍ସ କମ୍ପ୍ଲେକ୍ସ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା କରାଯିବ। ବାରବାଟୀ ଷ୍ଟାଡିୟମର ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ନବୀକରଣ କରାଯାଇ ଏହାକୁ ଦେଶର ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ କ୍ରୀଡ଼ା ଭେନ୍ୟୁରେ ପରିଣତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସରକାର ସଙ୍କଳ୍ପବଦ୍ଧ। ଓଡ଼ିଶା କ୍ରିକେଟ୍ ଆସୋସିଏସନ୍ ର under -14 କ୍ରିକେଟ୍ ଏକାଡେମୀ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ଉଦ୍ୟମକୁ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିବା ସହ ଲିଗ୍‌ରେ ଭାଗ ନେଇଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ୬ଟି ଦଳ, ଅଧିନାୟକ, ପ୍ରଶିକ୍ଷକ ଓ କ୍ରୀଡ଼ାପ୍ରେମୀଙ୍କୁ ଶୁଭେଚ୍ଛା ଜଣାଇଛନ୍ତି। ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ପୂର୍ବତନ ଭାରତୀୟ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଜାତୀୟ କ୍ରିକେଟର ଶ୍ରୀ ସୁରେଶ ରାଇନା କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ, ସେ ଶେଷ ଥର ପାଇଁ କଟକର ବାରବାଟୀ ଷ୍ଟାଡିୟମରେ ଶ୍ରୀଲଙ୍କା ବିପକ୍ଷରେ ଭାରତୀୟ ଦଳର ପ୍ରତିନିଧିତ୍ୱ କରିବା ଅବସରରେ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଆସିଥିଲେ। ଓଡ଼ିଶା ସରକାରଙ୍କ ଏହି ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ପ୍ରକୃତରେ ପ୍ରଶଂସନୀୟ। ଏହା ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ଭାବରେ ଖେଳାଳିମାନଙ୍କୁ କ୍ରିକେଟ ଖେଳ ପ୍ରତି ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଭଲପାଇବା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବା ଏବଂ କ୍ରୀଡ଼ାକୁ ଆପଣାଇବା ପାଇଁ ଉତ୍ସାହିତ କରିବ। ଏହି ଉଦ୍‌ଘାଟନୀ ସମାରୋହରେ ଶାସକ ଦଳ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ସଚେତକ ଶ୍ରୀ ସରୋଜ କୁମାର ପ୍ରଧାନ , ବାରବାଟୀ-କଟକ ବିଧାୟିକା ସୋଫିଆ ଫିର୍‌ଦୋସ୍, କଟକ ସଦର ବିଧାୟକ ଶ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରକାଶ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ସେଠୀ, କଟକ ଚୌଦ୍ୱାର ବିଧାୟକ ଶ୍ରୀ ସୌଭିକ ବିଶ୍ୱାଳ, ଅନୁଗୁଳ ବିଧାୟକ ତଥା ଓସିଏ ଆପେକ୍ସ କାଉନସିଲ ସଦସ୍ୟ ଶ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରତାପ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ପ୍ରଧାନ, ତିର୍ତ୍ତୋଲ ବିଧାୟକ ଶ୍ରୀ ରମାକାନ୍ତ ଭୋଇ, ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଫୁଟବଲ ଆସୋସିଏସନର ସମ୍ପାଦକ ଏବଂ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଆଥଲେଟିକ୍ ଆସୋସିଏସନର ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ଡକ୍ଟର ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ ବେହେରା, ପୂର୍ବତନ କ୍ରିକେଟର ଶ୍ରୀ ଦେବାଶିଷ ମହାନ୍ତି, ଓଡ଼ିଶା କ୍ରିକେଟ୍ ଆସୋସିଏସନ୍‌ର ସଭାପତି ଶ୍ରୀ ପଙ୍କଜ ଲୋଚନ ମହାନ୍ତି, ଉପ-ସଭାପତି ଶ୍ରୀ ଜଗମୋହନ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକ, ସମ୍ପାଦକ ଶ୍ରୀ ସଞ୍ଜୟ ବେହେରାଙ୍କ ସମେତ OCAର ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ସଦସ୍ୟ, ପ୍ରଶିକ୍ଷକ, ଖେଳାଳି ଓ ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଅତିଥିବୃନ୍ଦ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିଲେ।
