#Dibrugarh | Continuing its efforts over the ongoing controversy at Marwari Hindi High School, members of the All Dibrugarh Students’ Union, Dibrugarh district, met Assam Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu in Dibrugarh today.

During the meeting, the students’ body apprised the minister of the issues highlighted in the previous day’s incident, including allegations concerning the school’s administration, the reported presence of two principals, and concerns over the functioning and management of the institution.

The union also brought to the minister’s attention concerns raised regarding basic facilities, maintenance of school infrastructure, student welfare and other issues reported at the historic institution.

The students’ union urged the Education Minister to look into the matter and take necessary steps to ensure proper administration and a conducive environment for students at Marwari Hindi High School.

#News | Dibrugarh Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Gaurav Abhijit Dilip on friday briefed the media on the preparations being made for the upcoming Independence Day celebrations in the district.

During the briefing, the SSP highlighted the security arrangements and preparedness measures being undertaken by Dibrugarh Police to ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of Independence Day programmes.

He also spoke about the Tiranga Rally which was organised on the occasion, which is aimed at spreading the spirit of patriotism and encouraging public participation in the Independence Day celebrations.
