A controversy has erupted at Kiran Hospital in Surat after the death of a nine-month-old baby girl, with the family alleging medical negligence. The infant, Krishva, daughter of Mitesh Chaudhary from Khodiyar Krupa Society in Katargam, was admitted to the hospital on the 10th after her health deteriorated. According to the family, the baby’s condition worsened after a needle was removed from her neck on Friday, following which she passed away. The family has alleged that the procedure was carried out by nursing staff instead of senior doctors and staged a protest at the hospital.
