#News || The Assam government has identified four men from Arunachal Pradesh who were allegedly involved in the fir*ng at people in Badati village under Mingmang panchayat in Dhemaji district. Education Minister Ranoj Pegu said Assam Police has sought the custody of the four accused from the neighbouring state for further investigation. Pegu clarified that the firing took place within Assam’s territory and said there was no land dispute over the location where the incident occurred. The minister made the statement after holding talks with leaders of the Takam Mising Porin Kebang (TMPK) at the Dhemaji Circuit House. TMPK has been observing an indefinite economic blockade against Arunachal Pradesh following the incident, demanding action against those responsible for the firing.
