Displaying remarkable skill, determination and competitive spirit at the CBSE Cluster-3 Table Tennis Championship held in Ranchi, DPS Bokaro students delivered an outstanding performance and secured qualification for the upcoming CBSE National Table Tennis Championship in Gujarat in October 2026. Two talented players - Ivy Das and Piyush Kumar - qualified for the individual events of the National Championship, while three DPS Bokaro teams also booked their places in the prestigious national-level competition. ##Three teams earn National qualification The winning momentum continued as the Under-14 Girls, Under-19 Girls and Under-19 Boys teams of DPS Bokaro impressed with their exceptional performances and earned qualification for the Nationals. The Under-19 Boys team comprising Nishant, Piyush Kumar, Bishayan Paul and Harmeet Singh displayed excellent coordination and fighting spirit to win the silver medal and finish as first runners-up. Adding another achievement to his name, Piyush Kumar also secured a silver medal in the individual category. ##Ivy Das leads with individual brilliance The Under-19 Girls team featuring Ivy Das, Devanshi Sinha and Shreyasi delivered a commendable performance to claim the silver medal and secure the first runners-up position. Ivy Das further enhanced the team’s success by winning a bronze medal in the individual event. The Under-14 Girls team comprising Eeshanvi Shiva, Swadha Priyavi and Aadya Lisha also showcased their talent and determination, clinching the silver medal and earning the first runners-up title in their category. ##Young players add more medals DPS Bokaro’s young talents also made a strong impact in the championship. The Under-14 Boys team of Praanjal Kumar, Adhyansh Kashyap, Prashant Bhushan and Shivansh Raj, along with the Under-17 Boys team consisting of Ankit Kumar Patel, Akarsh Kumar, Parth Ayushman and Ryan Shan, secured bronze medals and finished as second runners-up in their respective categories. The CBSE Cluster-3 Table Tennis Championship witnessed participation from more than 350 players representing 76 schools, making DPS Bokaro’s achievement a remarkable milestone. ##Players felicitated for outstanding achievement Recognising the remarkable success of the students, DPS Bokaro Principal Dr. A.S. Gangwar felicitated all winners and participants during the school assembly with medals and certificates. He appreciated their dedication and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence. “Sports not only improve physical fitness but also develop discipline, concentration and team spirit. Our students have achieved this success through hard work, dedication and true sportsmanship,” said Dr. A.S. _'चलो जवानों, बढ़ो जवानों मां ने हमें पुकारा है...'_ *डीपीएस बोकारो के नन्हे सुरसाधकों ने बहाई राष्ट्रप्रेम की अविरल सरिता* _*'धरोहर' के दूसरे दिन गूंजे देशभक्ति के तराने, सतलज और जमुना सदन बने संयुक्त विजेता*_ *बोकारो।* जब मासूम हाथों में तिरंगा लहराया और नन्हे कंठों से राष्ट्रप्रेम की सुमधुर स्वरलहरियां फूटीं, तो समूचा वातावरण देशभक्ति के अनूठे रस में सराबोर हो उठा। मौका था दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल (डीपीएस), बोकारो की प्राइमरी इकाई के तीन दिवसीय सांस्कृतिक उत्सव 'धरोहर' के दूसरे दिन का। बुधवार को आयोजित अंतर-सदन समूहगान प्रतियोगिता अपने-आप में अत्यंत खास, भव्य और अलौकिक बन पड़ी। राष्ट्रध्वज के तीन रंगों की छटा बिखेरते आकर्षक परिधानों में सजे-संवरे नन्हे सुरसाधकों ने अपनी रसमयी प्रस्तुतियों के जरिए मां भारती के प्रति असीम प्रेम और राष्ट्रभक्ति की ऐसी अविरल धारा प्रवाहित की कि उपस्थित हर दर्शक मंत्रमुग्ध हो उठा। हाथों में लहराते राष्ट्रीय ध्वज तिरंगे के बीच बच्चों ने राग-रागिनी की माला में पिरोए अपने गीतों के माध्यम से जहां एक ओर नए भारत की अदम्य शक्ति को दर्शाया, वहीं दूसरी ओर देश के अमर बलिदानियों को नमन करते हुए राष्ट्ररक्षा के संकल्प को दोहराया और आगे आने का आह्वान भी किया। राष्ट्रीय चेतना से ओत-प्रोत उनकी भावपूर्ण प्रस्तुतियों में जोश, ऊर्जा और उमंग का ऐसा अभूतपूर्व जज्बा देखने को मिला कि सुरों के साथ-साथ वतन की पावन मिट्टी की सोंधी महक चारों ओर बिखर गई। मन मोह लेने वाली भाव-भंगिमाओं और सुरों की मिठास ने हर सुनने वाले के रोंगटे खड़े कर दिए। संगीतमय यात्रा की शुरुआत करते हुए गंगा सदन के बच्चों ने 'कदम-कदम बढ़ाए जा...' से जोश का संचार किया। इसके बाद चेनाब सदन ने '...आगे बढ़ो विश्व में बजा दो डंका', झेलम सदन ने 'या रब रहे सलामत, भारत हमारा भारत...', रावी सदन ने 'हम सब भारतीय हैं...', सतलज सदन ने 'चलो जवानो बढ़ो जवानों मां ने हमें पुकारा है...' तथा जमुना सदन के विद्यार्थियों ने 'हिन्दुस्तां का परचम सदा लहराते रहेंगे हम...' जैसे गीतों की जीवंत प्रस्तुतियां देकर हर दिल में देशभक्ति की अलख जगा दी।

The event witnessed young performers filling the auditorium with patriotic melodies, creating an atmosphere of pride and unity. ##Colourful Performances Leave Audience Spellbound Dressed in costumes representing the saffron, white and green of the Indian National Flag, the children delivered soulful renditions of patriotic songs while waving the Tricolour. Their energetic performances reflected the spirit of a progressive India and paid heartfelt tributes to the country's brave martyrs. The synchronized singing and vibrant stage presence earned loud applause from the audience. ##Six Houses Showcase Musical Excellence The patriotic musical journey began with Ganga House's presentation of "Kadam Kadam Badhaye Ja". Chenab House followed with "Aage Badho Vishwa Mein Baja Do Danka", while Jhelum House performed "Ya Rab Rahe Salamat, Bharat Hamara Bharat".
