Under its newly launched GCC Policy 2026, the Bihar government has officially invited Google India to establish a Global Capability Centre in the state. The proposal was advanced during a high-level meeting in New Delhi between Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary and a Google delegation led by Vice President Chandu Thota. This partnership primarily aims to drive large-scale local employment for youth, curb talent migration, and position Bihar as an emerging technology and innovation hub in eastern India. Beyond setting up the facility, both sides plan to collaborate on accelerating digital transformation across four key pillars: technology, education, healthcare, and agriculture.
