ЁЯЪи PUBLIC ALERT & FACT CHECK | VIRAL ARMY VIDEO IS AI-MANIPULATEDЁЯСЗЁЯП╗........
A misleading video circulating on social media falsely attributes controversial statements to Lieutenant General Girish Kalia, claiming that Chinese forces have taken control of Asaphila, Longju and Taksing in Arunachal Pradesh. The video also alleges that Indian Army personnel were denied essential supplies and that security forces would be deployed against Gen Z protesters instead of addressing the alleged border situation.
тЪая╕П FACT CHECK: The Indian Army has officially debunked the video, confirming that it has been digitally altered using AI-generated audio and manipulated lip-syncing. The original footage dates back to October 27, 2023, when then Major General Girish Kalia addressed a press briefing in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir, on security operations along the Line of Control. He did not make the statements attributed to him in the viral clip.
