#News | Dibrugarh is observing the 578th birth anniversary of Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardeva, the revered spiritual, social and cultural icon of Assam, with various religious and cultural programmes across the city.
As part of the celebrations, devotees took part in a Bhagawat Bhraman procession, carrying messages of devotion and the teachings of Srimanta Sankardeva. The occasion is being marked with prayers, devotional activities and community participation, paying tribute.
