According to reports, dozens of trees were uprooted and several electricity poles were damaged due to the storm. A major traffic disruption was reported near TCI Chowk, where a fallen tree blocked the road, leading to a traffic jam and inconvenience for commuters. The severe weather also triggered a prolonged power outage in many areas of the city and its outskirts. Due to the non-availability of electricity, water supply services were also affected, causing difficulties for residents. Officials and emergency response teams were deployed to clear fallen trees, restore power infrastructure, and normalize traffic movement. Restoration work is currently underway, and authorities have assured that electricity and water supply services will be restored as soon as possible. Meanwhile, residents have been advised to remain cautious and avoid areas with damaged trees, electric poles, or hanging power lines until the restoration process is completed.
