Raipur–Kankaria Road Set for Major Expansion The AMC has proposed widening the Raipur Darwaza–Kankaria road from 10 metres to 24 metres to improve traffic flow and connectivity in the area. The project is likely to affect around 41 properties, including residential, commercial and religious structures, with demolition to be carried out where required. The proposal has been submitted to the Standing Committee for approval, while compensation will be provided to affected property owners as per government norms. Once completed, the wider road is expected to reduce congestion and make travel towards Kankaria smoother and more convenient.
