Tight Security Arrangements for NEET Re-Examination in Rourkela . LIVE Rourkela, June 21: Elaborate security arrangements have been put in place in Rourkela for the smooth and peaceful conduct of the NEET re-examination being held on Sunday. According to official sources, a total of five examination centres have been set up in the city. Four centres are functioning on the campus of National Institute of Technology Rourkela, while one centre has been established at Government Industrial Training Institute Rourkela. To ensure the examination is conducted without any disruption, stringent security measures have been implemented by the district administration and police. Two platoons of police personnel have been deployed at the NIT campus, with additional security arrangements made at all examination venues. Police officials are monitoring the situation closely to maintain law and order, regulate traffic, and facilitate the smooth movement of candidates and their guardians. Authorities have also appealed to candidates to reach their respective centres well in advance and cooperate with security personnel during the verification process. The examination commenced amid tight security and is being conducted peacefully across all centres.
