Think your iPhone keeps you safe from scams? Cyber criminals are now targeting Apple users with fake “Find My iPhone” and Apple Support messages to hijack their digital identity. After a phone theft, scammers may send fake SMS alerts claiming your iPhone has been found. These messages often contain phishing links that lead to fake iCloud login pages designed to steal your Apple ID, password, and OTP. Once attackers gain access, they may: • Disable “Find My iPhone” • Lock you out of your Apple account • Access personal data linked to iCloud • Make stolen devices easier to resell I4C, MHA has also issued an advisory regarding such scams.
