#News | Dibrugarh Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Gaurav Dilip Abhijit addressed a public meeting on the issue of dr*g abuse and appealed to citizens to actively participate in the fight against substance add!ction.
Addressing the gathering, the SSP urged people to promptly inform the police if anyone in their locality is found becoming habitual to dr*gs or other add!ctive substances. He emphasised that timely intervention and cooperation from the public can play an important role in preventing addiction and protecting the younger generation.
He also stressed the importance of parents and guardians maintaining regular communication with children. He encouraged families to talk openly with children, understand their emotions and teach them healthy ways to handle stress, pressure and difficult situations in life.
