Beyond the capital city, the government plans to deploy rented helicopters to provide direct air connectivity to prominent tourist hotspots like Rajgir in Nalanda and the Maa Mundeshwari Temple in Kaimur. Additionally, the state plans to use its own aircraft to connect travelers to Valmikinagar in West Champaran. This comprehensive air tourism campaign is scheduled to run its first phase from July 15, 2026, to January 15, 2027. Alongside the aerial upgrades, the cabinet also approved the “Homestay Promotion Scheme 2026,” which offers subsidies up to ₹11 lakh to help local entrepreneurs and youth establish rural homestays, ensuring visitors have comfortable places to stay when they land.
