AIIA Launches ‘Garbhini Mitra’ Course for Maternal Wellness
The All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), New Delhi, has launched the six-month ‘Garbhini Mitra’ course for 2026–27, based on Ayurvedic concepts of Garbhini Paricharya, Sutika Paricharya and Garbhadhana Vidhi. The programme covers pregnancy diet and lifestyle guidance, pregnancy-safe Yoga, emotional support, newborn care and basic life-support protocols.
The course will train personnel to provide community-level maternal wellness support while complementing clinical antenatal care and facilitating timely referrals. Open to candidates aged 18+ with 10+2 qualification, the course will be conducted offline at AIIA, Sarita Vihar, New Delhi.
Last date to apply: August 31, 2026.
