#News | The District Level Task Force (DLTF), Dibrugarh, r*scued six children from the H.S. Road area near Ranghar Plaza on saturday during a special drive to identify and protect children living in street situations.
The children were found not attending school and involved in street-based activities such as selling pens, begging and other forms of child labour. The r#scue was carried out to ensure their safety and protect them from expl#itation and other r!sks associated with street life.
Following the rescue, the children were produced before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Dibrugarh, which placed them at Prerona Child Care Institution for care, protection and rehabilitation.
The children will be provided a safe environment and support to help them return to education and access necessary care and rehabilitation services.
