Rourkela Truck Owner Association (RTOA) Elects New Office-Bearers for 2026–27 Term Rourkela, July 12: The election for the RTOA Executive Committee for the 2026–27 term was held on Sunday in a peaceful atmosphere, with members recording an impressive voter turnout. Out of a total of 83 eligible voters, 75 members cast their votes in the election. Following the counting of votes, Bikash Singh was elected as President, securing 42 votes against Rabindra Kumar Singh, who received 33 votes. For the post of Vice President, Mohan Singh emerged victorious with 37 votes, defeating Suryakant Shukla, who secured 35 votes. In the Working President contest, Rajesh Bag won with 36 votes, while Sibakant Shukla polled 32 votes. For the post of General Secretary, Jagdish Jaiswal was elected after securing 45 votes, defeating Manoj Kumar Singh, who received 32 votes. In the Joint Secretary election, Ashok Kumar Sahoo registered a convincing victory with 47 votes, while Deepak Kumar Yadav secured 28 votes. The newly elected office-bearers expressed their gratitude to the members for reposing faith in them and pledged to work for the welfare and development of the association during their tenure.
