CM Sarma briefed PM Modi on Assam’s roadmap for comprehensive recovery and reconstruction. He also thanked the Prime Minister for the Centre’s continued support during the flood crisis and said that PM Modi had remained in regular touch with the Assam government while reviewing the situation.
According to Sarma, PM Modi reaffirmed the Government of India’s continued support for Assam’s recovery efforts. The Chief Minister also apprised the Prime Minister of key initiatives undertaken by his government during its first 100 days in office.
