जिंदवड़ी पैलेस में तीज मेले में उमड़ा महिलाओं का सैलाब, हजारों महिलाओं व युवतियों ने लिया हिस्सा
श्री आनंदपुर साहिब, 26 अगस्त। जिंदवड़ी स्थित पैलेस में तीज के त्योहार के अवसर पर आयोजित भव्य समारोह में पंजाब के शिक्षा मंत्री हरजोत सिंह बैंस ने मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत सिंह मान की धर्मपत्नी डॉ. गुरप्रीत कौर मान का श्री आनंदपुर साहिब पहुंचने पर गर्मजोशी से स्वागत किया। समारोह में बड़ी संख्या में महिलाओं, युवतियों और क्षेत्रवासियों ने भाग लेकर तीज मेले की रौनक बढ़ा दी।
इस अवसर पर डॉ. गुरप्रीत कौर मान ने कहा कि तीज का त्योहार पंजाबी महिलाओं के लिए खुशी, मेल-मिलाप, आपसी सांझ और प्रेम का संदेश लेकर आता है। यह पंजाब की समृद्ध संस्कृति और पारंपरिक विरासत का अभिन्न हिस्सा है। ऐसे आयोजन नई पीढ़ी को अपनी जड़ों और विरासत से जोड़ने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि वर्तमान पंजाब सरकार की ओर से गांव-गांव और शहर-शहर तीज के मेले आयोजित किए जा रहे हैं, ताकि पंजाबी संस्कृति और विरासत की परंपराओं को और मजबूत किया जा सके। उन्होंने कहा कि गुरु नगरी श्री आनंदपुर साहिब जैसे ऐतिहासिक स्थल पर पंजाब की अनमोल सांस्कृतिक विरासत का प्रतीक यह त्योहार मनाया जाना अपने आप में विशेष महत्व रखता है।
डॉ. गुरप्रीत कौर मान ने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत सिंह मान के नेतृत्व वाली पंजाब सरकार ने लोगों से किए वादों को पूरा किया है। उन्होंने पंजाब के शिक्षा ढांचे में हुए उल्लेखनीय सुधारों के लिए शिक्षा मंत्री हरजोत सिंह बैंस की सराहना की। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार की जनहितैषी योजनाओं को लोगों की ओर से भरपूर समर्थन मिल रहा है।
डॉ. मान ने शिक्षा मंत्री हरजोत सिंह बैंस का विशेष रूप से धन्यवाद करते हुए कहा कि इतने बड़े जनसमूह के लिए कार्यक्रम का सुचारू प्रबंध करना सराहनीय कार्य है। उन्होंने कहा कि कार्यक्रम में पहुंचने वाली माताओं और बेटियों की सुविधा का विशेष ध्यान रखा गया है।

कार्यक्रम में भारी जनसमूह को संबोधित करते हुए कैबिनेट मंत्री हरजोत सिंह बैंस ने कहा कि, “यही है मान सरकार के रंगले पंजाब की तस्वीर—पंजाबी विरासत के रंग, बेटियों-बहनों का सम्मान और लोगों की खुशी।”
उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसे सांस्कृतिक आयोजन पंजाब की समृद्ध विरासत को संरक्षित करने और युवा पीढ़ी को अपनी संस्कृति से जोड़ने के लिए बेहद महत्वपूर्ण हैं।
समारोह के दौरान तीज के पारंपरिक रंग, लोकगीत, गिद्दा सहित विभिन्न सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुतियों ने वातावरण को पूरी तरह उत्सवमय बना दिया। स्कूलों के विद्यार्थियों तथा क्षेत्र के विभिन्न क्लबों और संस्थाओं की टीमों ने शानदार सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुतियां दीं। नगर परिषद नंगल की ओर से डॉ. गुरप्रीत कौर मान सहित अन्य गणमान्य व्यक्तियों का विशेष सम्मान भी किया गया।
डॉ. गुरप्रीत कौर मान ने सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुतियां देने वाली युवा लड़कियों तथा माताओं-बहनों का उत्साह बढ़ाया और कार्यक्रम के सफल आयोजन के लिए बैंस परिवार तथा आम आदमी पार्टी का विशेष धन्यवाद किया।
कार्यक्रम का मंच संचालन सीमा जस्सल और संदीप भारद्वाज ने किया।

ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ, 26 ਅਗਸਤ। ਜਿੰਦਵੜੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਮੌਕੇ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ ਭਵਿਆ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਹਰਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੈਂਸ ਨੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਧਰਮ ਪਤਨੀ ਡਾ. ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ’ਤੇ ਨਿੱਘਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਠਾਠਾਂ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਇਕੱਠ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ, ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਲਾਕਾ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੇਲੇ ਦੀ ਰੌਣਕ ਵਧਾਈ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਡਾ. ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਤੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਮਹਿਲਾਵਾਂ ਲਈ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ, ਮਿਲਾਪ, ਸਾਂਝ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਦਾ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਦਾ ਅਟੁੱਟ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਨਵੀਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਜੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਹਿਮ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਿੰਡ-ਪਿੰਡ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ-ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੇਲੇ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਰਵਾਇਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਗਰੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਧਰਤੀ ’ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਅਨਮੋਲ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਇਹ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਮਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ।
ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਹਰ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਨਿਭਾਇਆ: ਡਾ. ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਮਾਨ
ਡਾ. ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਢਾਂਚੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਏ ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਸੁਧਾਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਹਰਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੈਂਸ ਦੀ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੋਕ ਪੱਖੀ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਭਰਵਾਂ ਹੁੰਗਾਰਾ ਮਿਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਡਾ. ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਹਰਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੈਂਸ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ’ਤੇ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇੰਨੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਇਕੱਠ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਚੱਜੇ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਭਾਲਣਾ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾਯੋਗ ਕਾਰਜ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਮਾਵਾਂ-ਧੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਧਿਆਨ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
‘ਰੰਗਲੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ’ ਦੀ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਬਣਿਆ ਤੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਗਮ: ਹਰਜੋਤ ਬੈਂਸ
ਭਾਰੀ ਇਕੱਠ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਹਰਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੈਂਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਇਹੀ ਹੈ ਮਾਨ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਰੰਗਲੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਤਸਵੀਰ—ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਦੇ ਰੰਗ, ਧੀਆਂ-ਭੈਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ।”
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਅਮੀਰ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲਣ ਅਤੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਨ ਲਈ ਅਹਿਮ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਰੰਗ, ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਨੇ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ਗਵਾਰ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ, ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਕਲੱਬਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ।
ਨਗਰ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਨੰਗਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਡਾ. ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਡਾ. ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਵਾਂ-ਭੈਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੌਸਲਾ ਵਧਾਇਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਲਈ ਬੈਂਸ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ।

Thousands of Women and Girls Participate in Grand Teej Celebration at Jindwari Palace; Event Showcases the Colours of ‘Rangla Punjab’
Sri Anandpur Sahib, August 26: A grand Teej festival was organized at Jindwari Palace, where thousands of women, girls and local residents participated with great enthusiasm. Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains warmly welcomed Dr. Gurpreet Kaur Mann, wife of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, on her arrival at Sri Anandpur Sahib.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur Mann said that the Teej festival brings a message of happiness, togetherness, mutual bonding and love for Punjabi women. She said Teej is an integral part of Punjab’s rich cultural heritage and traditional way of life and plays an important role in connecting the younger generation with its roots.
She said that the Punjab Government is organizing Teej festivals in villages and cities across the state to strengthen and preserve Punjabi traditions and cultural heritage. She added that celebrating this festival at the historic land of Sri Anandpur Sahib was a special occasion and a tribute to Punjab’s invaluable heritage.
Punjab Government Has Fulfilled Its Promises: Dr. Gurpreet Kaur Mann
Dr. Gurpreet Kaur Mann said that the Punjab Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, has fulfilled the promises made to the people. She particularly appreciated the significant improvements in Punjab’s education system and praised Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains for his efforts.
She said that people are responding positively to the various public-oriented schemes and initiatives of the state government.
Dr. Mann also thanked Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains for making elaborate arrangements for such a large gathering. She said special attention had been given to the comfort and convenience of mothers and daughters attending the event.

Addressing the gathering, Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains said, “This is the picture of the Rangla Punjab envisioned by the Mann Government—the colours of Punjabi heritage, respect for daughters and sisters, and happiness among the people.”
He said that such cultural events are important for preserving Punjab’s rich traditions and connecting the younger generation with its cultural roots.
The traditional colours of Teej, cultural performances and the enthusiastic participation of women made the atmosphere vibrant and festive. Students from schools, along with teams from various clubs and social organizations of the area, presented impressive cultural performances.
The Nangal Municipal Council honoured Dr. Gurpreet Kaur Mann and other dignitaries on the occasion. Dr. Mann encouraged the young girls, mothers and women who participated in the cultural performances and thanked the Bains family and the Aam Aadmi Party for organizing the event.
