இங்கிலாந்து, இலண்டன் நகரில் இன்று (14.09.2026), சம்வர்தனா மதர்சன் இன்டர்நேஷனல் லிமிடெட் (Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd.,) நிறுவனம் அதன் ஐரோப்பா மற்றும் இங்கிலாந்தைச் சேர்ந்த கூட்டு நிறுவனங்களுடன் இணைந்து, வழிகாட்டி நிறுவனத்துடன் தமிழ்நாட்டில் சுமார் ரூ.11,000 கோடி முதலீட்டில், வடிவமைப்பு, பொறியியல், உற்பத்தி, கூட்டிணைப்பு (Assembly) மற்றும் தளவாட வசதிகள் ஆகிய துறைகளில் சுமார் 7,000 நபர்களுக்கு வேலைவாய்ப்புகள் உருவாக்கிடும் வகையில் புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தம் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டது. இப்புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தத்தில், சம்வர்தனா மதர்சன் இன்டர்நேஷனல் குழுமத்தின் உலகளாவிய சந்தைப்படுத்தல் மற்றும் தகவல் தொடர்புத் துறைத் தலைவர் திரு.பாரி பெயிண்டர் மற்றும் தமிழ்நாடு அரசின் வழிகாட்டி நிறுவனத்தின் நிர்வாக இயக்குநர் திரு.தீபக் ஜேக்கப், இ.ஆ.ப. ஆகியோர் கையெழுத்திட்டு, ஒப்பந்தத்தைப் பரிமாறிக் கொண்டனர். இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில், இங்கிலாந்து நாட்டிற்கான இந்தியத் தூதர் திரு.குமரன் பெரியசாமி, IFS, நிறுவனப் பிரதிநிதிகள் மற்றும் அரசு உயர் அலுவலர்கள் கலந்துகொண்டனர். Today (14.09.2026), in London, England, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd., along with its European and UK-based joint venture companies, and Guidance, Tamil Nadu, for an investment of approximately Rs.11,000 crore in Tamil Nadu. The investment will create employment opportunities for around 7,000 people across sectors including design, engineering, manufacturing, assembling and logistics facilities. The MoU was signed and exchanged by Mr. Barry Painter, Global Head – Marketing and Communications, Samvardhana Motherson International Group, and Mr. Deepak Jacob, IAS, Managing Director, Guidance, Government of Tamil Nadu.
