A comprehensive health camp was held on 27 September 2026 at the Government Tribal Welfare Ashram High School, Chinna Boyinapalli, Eturunagaram Mandal, for residents of the village and surrounding areas.
The camp was organized in collaboration with AIIMS Bibinagar, Sammakka Sarakka Central Tribal University, ITDA.
Held under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Amita Aggarwal, Executive Director, AIIMS Bibinagar; Dr. Rahul Narang, Dean (Research), AIIMS Bibinagar; and Dr. Y. L. Srinivas of Sammakka Sarakka Central Tribal University, the camp received support from Mr. Lenin Vatsal Toppo, IAS, Project Officer, ITDA; and Dr. Kranti, Deputy DMHO, ITDA Eturunagaram. Mr. Ramesh, Head Master of the Government Tribal Welfare Ashram High School, Chinna Boyinapalli, Eturunagaram Mandal, extended his support to conduct this medical camp.
A 52-member team, including doctors, Junior Residents, Senior Residents, nurses, and allied health professionals, participated in the event.
A total of 428 people registered for the camp. Services included general medicine, orthopaedic and dental consultations, assessment of obstetric and gynaecological concerns, breast cancer screening, awareness on the prevention of non-communicable diseases, nutritional guidance, Ayurveda consultations, and attention to other health concerns. Participants requiring further care were advised on follow-up. The organizers thanked the medical team, officials, school staff, and collaborating institutions for their support in bringing these services to the community.
