Panic gripped Dakshineswar Railway Station after an 11,000-volt overhead electric (OHE) power line snapped and fell onto a local train at the station.
At the time of the incident, the train was carrying passengers. Fortunately, all passengers were safely evacuated, and no casualties were reported. The incident triggered chaos and disruption at the station as railway officials rushed to secure the area and restore normal operations. Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the overhead wire failure.
