A meeting was held between Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, and Ms. Geetika Srivastava, IFS, Ambassador-Designate to the Embassy of India, Vilnius, Lithuania, on 04 August 2026 in the Ministry of Ayush, New Delhi. During the discussion, Secretary briefed her on the mandate and key initiatives of the Ministry of Ayush, highlighting the growing global recognition and acceptance of Ayurveda and other traditional systems of medicine. The importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation with Lithuania in the field of Ayush, particularly Ayurveda, was emphasized.
