![Imagine being thousands of feet in the air when the person beside you suddenly becomes the threat.
That is what Captain Smit Machchhar reportedly faced on a Flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv. Despite being injured in the cockpit confrontation he resisted and helped keep the situation from becoming far worse. Passengers, crew and other pilots also stepped in before the aircraft was safely diverted and landed in Saudi Arabia.
