Jan Samvad Against Drugs | Operation Thunder 2.0 | International Day Against Drug Abuse – 26 June
On the occasion of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, a landmark Jan Samvad Baithak was organized at Niyojan Bhawan under Operation Thunder 2.0, the flagship anti-drug initiative of Nagpur City Police envisioned and guided by Dr. Ravinder Kumar Singal.
The meeting witnessed the esteemed presence of the Hon’ble Mayor of Nagpur, Commissioner of Police, Joint Commissioner of Police, Additional Commissioners of Police, all DCPs, ACPs, Police Inspectors, Corporators, NGOs, educational institutions, and community representatives from across Nagpur City. The gathering served as a powerful platform to strengthen community participation in the fight against drug abuse and build a united movement for a safer, healthier and drug-free Nagpur.
Through meaningful dialogue and collective action, participants reaffirmed their commitment to spreading awareness, protecting youth from the dangers of substance abuse, supporting rehabilitation efforts, and eliminating the menace of narcotics from society. The program highlighted the importance of partnership between law enforcement agencies, public representatives, educational institutions, NGOs, and citizens in creating a truly Nasha-Mukt Nagpur.
