Addressing the 27th Governing Body Meeting of CCRAS, Shri Prataprao Jadhav, Hon'ble Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Ayush, Government of India; Hon'ble Minister of State, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India; and Hon'ble President, Governing Body of CCRAS, called for making Ayurveda more evidence-based, technology-enabled and globally competitive through research, innovation and entrepreneurship. Emphasising the vision of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Hon'ble Minister highlighted the growing global recognition of initiatives such as Heal by Ayurveda, Heal in India and Make in India. He urged focused action on three priority areas: establishing a Youth Research Fund to support innovative ideas and quality research; strengthening the Ayurveda startup ecosystem through patents, product development and market linkages in collaboration with CCRAS; and launching a Global Ayurveda Challenge to encourage innovation among young minds across the country.
